A 100% natural and renewable source, beeswax is antibacterial, anti-fungal, naturally aromatic, and even safe to eat (though we don’t recommend this esp. at the dinner table, in front of guests).
Beeswax candles burn with almost no smoke and clean the air around you by releasing negative ions that neutralize toxins, meaning you can breathe happy! Pure Beeswax candles are the greenest candles you can burn – eco-friendly, healthy and sustainable, fueled by the natural properties of beeswax. Our beeswax candles are loaded with amazing health benefits – antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, non-toxic, naturally aromatic and even edible (though we don't advise eating them). Free from paraffin, synthetic fragrance oils, chemicals, GMO soy, and parabens. made by bees - Cox's Farm Honey beeswax candles are produced by hand in our workshop on Cox's Farm in the Steart Peninsula in Somerset, with each candle produced being unique and may therefore vary slightly from the product photo. We make all our natural candles and can therefore guarantee exactly what goes into each one - pure beeswax - no soy, paraffin, palm or vegetable wax. We don’t even add fragrances or essential oils to our bees candles, leaving them with a distinctive yet very subtle natural scent.
Beeswax is a hard wax, with a long burn time, so the candles should last the entire meal, dependent on the number of courses!
Because each beeswax candle is truly produced by hand it is therefore unique and may differ slightly from the product photo.
***All candles should be placed on suitable candle holders or surfaces before lighting.

Are your products Vegan?
No.
Vegans believe to harvest honey and other bee produced products is cruel, however substitute products classed as vegan are often from very questionable sources (research soy beans, GM soy bean crops, Glyphosate and deforestation).
While it is true selling products produced by bees for profit can be considered exploitation...
We are ethical, bee-centric beekeepers. Our Queens wings are never clipped, allowing them to swarm should the colony decide.
Our bees take priority when it comes to retaining their honey we never take more honey than any one colony can spare and ensure there is enough of their own honey in periods of poor weather, rain and winter.
We don’t harvest royal jelly.
Our Apiaries are limited to a maximum of four colonies to any one well stocked acre. This means more work and expense for us but helps mitigate pressure for resources on wild pollinators. Our Apiary in Steart is now limited to two colonies due to the pressure on pollinators.
We work hard to raise awareness of the plight of wild pollinators, suffering from lack of habitat, loss of wildflower meadows, lack of safe chemical-free food. We plant for all pollinators and leave areas of garden to go wild and encourage you to do the same.
If you are vegan, I salute you for putting Animal welfare above all else, but please do steer clear of US Soy bean crops.
Here's a vegan honey recipe I found, obviously won't be as good as honey from the bees and unfortunately, it does use white granulated sugar... The British Sugar Industry has lined the pockets of successive governments for decades in order to keep using the very Neonicotionoids that have caused the insect apocalypse, anyway enjoy:
