Furniture polish
Neutral beeswax polish for all wood types.
Traditional Beeswax polish that nourishes, cleans, protects and revives all wood furniture and smells great too.
Handmade in small batches using traditional methods in our family workshop.
Contains beeswax, boiled linseed oil, pure gum turpentine, organic sweet orange essential oil.
- 100% Natural ingredients.
- Absolutely no silicone, no aggressive petrochemical solvents, no toluene, no white/mineral spirits whatsoever - guaranteed!
- Very easy to apply and buff - a little polish goes a very long way because pure turpentine holds more wax in suspension by volume than petrochemical solvents.
Hazard warnings:
Our beeswax polish is not harmful in normal use. It does contain natural pure gum turpentine, a very rich feeding solvent made from the distillation of resin mainly from pine trees which is used for making top quality furniture polish, an organic solvent, which has some hazards associated with it. Due to regulations we have to include the same warnings as if our polish was pure turpentine.
Not for use on children’s toys or nursery furniture.
-
Flammable - difficult to ignite this polish, mainly refers to the turpentine constituent and for bulk transportation.
-
Inhalation - As with any solvents, it is advisable to have a well ventilated area when applying the polish, beyond that, there is no cause for concern.
-
Contact with skin - If you have sensitive skin, it is advisable to wear gloves when handling the furniture polish. This is to avoid the possibility of a skin rash though this is rare.
-
If swallowed - Seek medical advice. Do not consume, keep away from children and pets!
-
Dangerous to the environment - This is related to the potential environmental damage caused by irresponsible disposal of large quantities of the product. Turps is harmful to aquatic organisms and should not be introduced aquatic environments, that said, because of the way our turpentine ingredient is produced, it is considered an environmentally friendly product.

Are your products Vegan?
No.
Vegans believe to harvest honey and other bee produced products is cruel, however substitute products classed as vegan are often from very questionable sources (research soy beans, GM soy bean crops, Glyphosate and deforestation).
While it is true selling products produced by bees for profit can be considered exploitation...
We are ethical, bee-centric beekeepers. Our Queens wings are never clipped, allowing them to swarm should the colony decide.
Our bees take priority when it comes to retaining their honey we never take more honey than any one colony can spare and ensure there is enough of their own honey in periods of poor weather, rain and winter.
We don’t harvest royal jelly.
Our Apiaries are limited to a maximum of four colonies to any one well stocked acre. This means more work and expense for us but helps mitigate pressure for resources on wild pollinators. Our Apiary in Steart is now limited to two colonies due to the pressure on pollinators.
We work hard to raise awareness of the plight of wild pollinators, suffering from lack of habitat, loss of wildflower meadows, lack of safe chemical-free food. We plant for all pollinators and leave areas of garden to go wild and encourage you to do the same.
If you are vegan, I salute you for putting Animal welfare above all else, but please do steer clear of US Soy bean crops.
Here's a vegan honey recipe I found, obviously won't be as good as honey from the bees and unfortunately, it does use white granulated sugar... The British Sugar Industry has lined the pockets of successive governments for decades in order to keep using the very Neonicotionoids that have caused the insect apocalypse, anyway enjoy:
