Perfect gift for a Camper Van Person

To be honest, this is so beautufully wrapped that I chose not to open it ahead of giving it to my brother for Christmas. But I know it will be perfect as everything I have had from Made by Bees has been.

We really appreciate your continued support and trust in us. Thanks so much for your 5-star review.

Lovely!

My second purchase from Cox's Farm Honey and I'm really pleased with their camper van candle - it's very cool, I don't even want to light it!

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star rating – it's much appreciated. In your photos, I can see some whitening on the candle - This is a good thing and many beeswax candle lovers, myself included are excited to see this.

Why?

Because only 100% pure beeswax candles will 'bloom'. It is a whitish film that starts as a light coat and gets heavier over time, giving the candle a frosty appearance.

When you see bloom on a beeswax candle, you're assured that it is authentic. But if you prefer your candles looking polished and new, don't worry, simply warm the candle with the heat from your hands and rub it with a soft, lint free cloth.

Bloom will reappear over time, you can always restore the candles back to their original sheen.

Are your products Vegan?

No.

Some see selling honey as exploitation - We see it as a partnership.

We practice ethical beekeeping which supports wild pollinators, strengthens local ecosystems, and helps protect bee populations under threat from habitat loss, pesticides, and climate change. In our practice, the bees always come first: queens’ wings are never clipped, swarming is allowed, the bees keep the vast majority of their honey. The small surplus we harvest funds their care and conservation, ensuring more healthy, thriving colonies to pollinate the plants we all rely on.

Our Apiaries are limited to a maximum of four colonies to any one well stocked acre. This means more work and expense for us but helps mitigate pressure for resources on wild pollinators. Our Apiary in Steart is now limited to two colonies due to the pressure on pollinators.

We work hard to raise awareness of the plight of wild pollinators, suffering from lack of habitat, loss of wildflower meadows, lack of safe chemical-free food. We plant for all pollinators and leave areas of garden to go wild and encourage you to do the same.
