David candle
Light up your space with this stunning David candle in 'vibrant beeswax'.
Michelangelo’s 'David' is a masterpiece of Italian Renaissance sculpture, created from 1501 to 1504.
A beautiful centrepiece and conversation starter for any table setting or an eye-catching ornament in any space. This piece of art is created from pure beeswax, a natural, sustainable resource.
Our David candle is 14 cm tall and 10 cm wide, sculpted from 380g of pure beeswax, with a delightful scent of English summer honey and wildflowers, even without being lit. David is intended as an ornament, yet will burn brightly when lit. Should you decide to light, we recommend you place David on a suitable heat resistant plate to catch any dripping wax.
Individually hand poured, pure British beeswax candles in our family workshop on Cox’s Farm in Steart, Somerset. We plant a tree with every order through our partnership with Ecology.

Are your products Vegan?
No is the short answer.
Vegans believe to harvest honey and other bee produced products is cruel, however they often use substitute products that are from very questionable sources (research soy beans, GM soy bean crops, Glyphosate and deforestation).
While it is true selling products from bees for profit is exploitation. we are ethical, bee-centric bee farmers. Our bees take priority when it comes to retaining their honey in periods of poor weather, rain and winter.
We have a whole host of programmes benefitting pollinator health, including wild pollinators.
Can we visit Cox’s Farm
Not without an invitation. Our bees enjoy a habitat free from traffic fumes, pesticides and disturbances. We don’t want to encourage vehicles.
Is honey safe to consume during pregnancy?
It is safe for expectant mothers to consume, however it should not be given to infants under 12 months.
Do you do trade discount?
We don’t offer trade discounts as we are a small, family run business and keep our prices as low as we can already.
